Mini Break Part One - Cabin Times

As we have the pleasure of Georgia's company this week, and presumably not everyone wants to sit around in Corvallis all the time eating giant burgers, we hit the road for an overnight trip to see some cool nature-ish stuff.

Beautiful day to be back on the I-5

We drove south and spent the night in a creekside cabin in Fort Klamath, in order to be close to the following day's attractions (the nature of which will be revealed in due course!).

I might need to get one of these for our front door at home

Exploring the creek...

... and the woods

Nature-y bits

Dusk among the trees, with snow-capped peaks in the background. Does it get any better?

The answer is, yes it does.

The cold and dark eventually won out, and we retired to the cabin to enjoy an ultra competitive game of Charley Harper Memory...
and some slumber party style Bored to Death, before turning in in readiness for an early start up the mountain in the morning!
